Data Deletion
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Where your data lives
DP Social Publisher is a self-hosted WordPress plugin. Your data is stored on your own WordPress server — not on any central server operated by Dented Printer. The OAuth relay at dentedprinter.com stores nothing; it is a stateless pass-through used only during the initial account connection.
How to delete your data
-
Log in to your WordPress admin panel
You'll need administrator access to the WordPress site where the plugin is installed.
-
Go to Settings → DP Social Publisher
-
Click Disconnect next to your connected Threads account
This immediately and permanently deletes your access token, Threads user ID, and username from the database.
If you no longer have access to your WordPress admin, contact the administrator of the site where the plugin is installed.
What gets deleted automatically
Disconnecting removes the following immediately:
- Threads access token
- Threads user ID
- Threads username
- Token expiry timestamp
Uninstalling the plugin entirely removes all of the above plus any plugin settings stored in the WordPress database.
Post content and imported replies
Post metadata (Threads post IDs, like counts, permalink URLs) and Threads replies imported as WordPress comments are retained as part of your site's content history. These are not automatically deleted on disconnect — they can be removed manually from the WordPress admin via Posts and Comments.
