This is a test post written on my personal website. Don’t be alarmed! I’m still working out some features that make my site look and feel and work like my little internet home – which is where you’re seeing it – my threads profile!
I’ve just done a double new line, separating paragraphs. I’m not sure I’ve even tested that yet? Wack. Also – I’m realizing I want a thing to add emoji’s in here now. You can do ’em in my replies, so they should be easy for users (and me) to add here while they r writn

This is the second part of my thread. I guess the next thing I wanna work on is like adding gifs? Other things to reach feature parity with threads (within reason)? Like obviously I can’t do the music feature. I ain’t got the licensing budget! The things I’m writing here don’t really matter. I’m just filling up the text area. I guess if you’re reading this I’d add – on wordpress I can Bold, Italic, Underline and stuff. Threads doesn’t support that, and I’ve got thoughts there.
In a few ways Threads “does” support text formatting. One of them is the extended-post option. I think it lets you write 20k characters or something like that? You can do text formatting in there. Another way is people cheese it with characters that aren’t actually letters from those online generator things. Those are not really machine readable. I mean they kind of are today with like AI but I don’t think most screen readers are using tech like that yet. Maybe some day.
I guess what I’m saying with that is I actually have already built a plugin to share my posts from wordpress to threads before and when I started doing that I was like “ooo I should make bold and italic and shit” and I did and then I was on a walk and I was like “I wonder if a screen reader can read that” and they can’t. At least not the default one that came with my computer had, which is like.. what a lotta folks prolly use. So I stopped with that.
